A medical grade chemical peel is when a chemical solution is applied to the skin which penetrates and exfoliates the skin at a deeper level. This causes the top layers of the skin to shed or peel. Durning this exfoliation process the dead skin cells and the outer layers of the skin have been removed. This process results in fresher looking skin. It also improves the appearance of the skins texture and tone and promotes brighter and healthier looking skin. This process also aims to stimulate collagen production and cell regeneration.
