Microneedling

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that involves puncturing the skin with small, sterile needles to trigger the body’s natural healing process. This can help stimulate the collagen production in the skin. The needles create micro channels in the skin, which creates a pathway to allow product penetration and absorption.

Genosys has two different needling devices based on your therapist's assessment to achieve the desired results: the Dermafix Pen or the Dermafix Roller.

The pen uses rapid needle movements to create controlled micro-traumas to the skin. This device allows for customization of the needle depth and speed to suit each client’s needs. It’s particularly suitable for those seeking minimal downtime after treatment or targeting smaller, specific areas like old scars or fine lines around the eyes or lips.

The roller features 450,000 needles that are rolled over the skin to produce a slightly deeper trauma, leading to a bit more downtime. This approach is particularly beneficial for treating thickened skin or larger areas with imperfections.

Micro-needling can address a variety of concerns, including:

-Acne scarring

-Fine lines and wrinkles

-Loss of definition and firmness in the skin

-Improvement of skin tone and texture

-Minimization of pore appearance

-Reduction of pigmentation and redness

-Enhanced absorption of skincare products
